Launching the series "Star Squad: The Search for Great Strength" by a 13-year-old child author

 Kim Dong Publishing House has just released the series of Star Squad: The Search for Great Power (English name: Star Team: A Quest For The Greatest Power) in English-Vietnamese bilingual format by 13-year-old child author Rosy Black. (real name is Nguyen Hanh Phuong).

The series of Star Squad: The Great Power Search consists of 4 volumes, which will be released once a year. This is a series of stories written in English and translated into Vietnamese by child author Nguyen Hanh Phuong, born in 2009. Hanh Phuong came up with the idea and started writing in July 2019, when she was 10 years old. I started to draft the entire content of the story, then focused on writing additional and detailed content for volume 1 - Back to the Past.

 

Right after volume 1 was released, Nguyen Hanh Phuong was set the record of "The youngest English fiction writer in Vietnam by the Central Association of Vietnam Records, the Vietnam Book of Records (VietKings). ".

Episode 1 - Returning to the past of the series "Star Squad: The Search for Great Power" has just been released to readers.

Having a mother who is an English teacher, Nguyen Hanh Phuong has been exposed to English since birth and was raised as a bilingual child. Passionate about science and passionate about reading, I started composing very naturally. The fiction books I read and love have fostered a rich and sharp imagination in me. Those are the premise for the 12-year-old girl to become the author of the English fantasy series Star Squad: The Search for Great Power.

The work is about the adventures of four children (British): Crystal Ruby, Alyssa Crown, Andrew Woodwork and Peter Anderson. The group is 12 years old, in the same class, and each has a special ability. During an outing, a group of friends by chance discovered a special box in an abandoned house with the words "The box of Greatest Power" engraved on it. Unexpectedly, a bony hand grabbed and snatched the box from the group of friends. That is Death. He has also been searching for the box for a long time and wants to own the box to have the power to cover the world. The fact that Death has in his hand this box will be a great danger to mankind. The children were extremely surprised and afraid, so they determined to find the box from Death's hand.

The author built the four main characters of the work as four British children

With the help of Harold, a kind Griffin, the group learns the story of the power inside the box and how they can defeat Death and retrieve the box to save the world. To do that you will need to obtain 4 weapons from 4 different spaces and times: from the Past, from the Future, from Heaven and from Hell. These 4 weapons combined will help defeat Death and regain the box.

Currently, Nguyen Hanh Phuong has completed the plan of ideas and content for the remaining 3 episodes, including: volume 2 - To the Future (To the Future); episode 3 – Up to Heaven and episode 4 – Down to Hell. After completing volume 1 in English, I translated it into Vietnamese. In particular, volume 2 is being completed by Nguyen Hanh Phuong and is expected to be released at the end of 2022.

 

The Star Squad: A Great Quest for Strength celebrates friendship, courage, and solidarity that rise above challenges.
